Quick-time trouble

Another fcp problem - I edited a bit of video and exported it as a quick-time movie, but when I burned it to dvd it won't play - neither will the quick-time file. It just says fcp quit unexpectedly…Continue

"It seems it's usually a audio problem. Don't use compressed audio working in FCP , use only AIFF or WAV files, uncompressed 48k audio only in your FCP sequences. When you come to do your export you can choose video only on your QT…"

Ah, and also..you can just drag a clip to the timeline and hold it above your track one. It will automatically create another track as you release it. B

Supermeet

Enjoyed the Supermeet in London on Friday, even though it was unusually quiet as far as FCPX went. Mike Horton was heard to say near the end :It is the future of editing , believe it or not" Obviously I do or I wouldn't still be using it.What was most notable was the demo of Resolve 10, from Blackmagic.
